| The Best Match of Personnel and Enterprise
|
At the beginning of the year of 2000, a famous domestic intelligent equipments company assigned us to source a CTO candidate. By means of integration of our resources, we had soon targeted two competitive candidates who were also recognized by the company. However, each of the two candidates had his strong points, which made it much difficult for the company to make a choice. Thus we aided to make concerned analyses as follows:
|
Firstly, we had analyzed each one's own characteristics:
| Key Points |
Mr. A |
Mr. B |
| Personality |
Passionate |
Relatively conservative and rational |
| Major and Expertise |
Good |
Good |
| Team Spirit |
Full of rallying-points and appetency; good at mobilization of resources
|
Managerial experiences of large team |
| Market Sensitivity |
Strong abilities of new product planning |
More knowledge of and supports to sales |
| Creative Spirit |
Excellent |
Good |
| Working Attitudes |
Goal-oriented |
Achievement-oriented |
|
| At the same time, communication with the company and ensuing analysis made us believe: the company had entered relatively mature development phase now and mastered core technology in this field, while its technological team was comparatively conservative, lacking in innovation. Thus a team leader of enterprise and stronger creative spirit was needed to give an impact to the team, and the company was spiritually relatively conservative, whose execution of affairs would involves a good communication ability and push. Consequently, we have reached the conclusion that Mr. A would be the best match for the company.
Based on the above reasoning, we had communicated with senor management level of the company by virtue of joint analysis of good and weak points of the two candidates, the company's specific situation, and their demands, and suggested Mr. A's employment. This suggestion was finally accepted by the company, which was also proved right by facts. |
The Wide Scope of Sourcing |
In October of 2002, a famous toy company entrusted us to seek a creative design manager in charge of concept design and shape design of toys. The client had been in long-term search of candidates for this position by himself or other headhunters, but without any results because of shortage of resources and channels. On reception of client's assignment, we had performed scrupulous analysis, the conclusion of which is that this position is highly specialized, and the mainland of China lacked in satisfactory candidates for it. Thus seeking job must rely on certain professional resources and special channels. Based on the above reasoning, we had fostered ideas of searching in regions like Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Southeast areas and mobilized headhunters in those places. Finally we had successfully sought a high-ranking Hong Kong designer to fill the position within the stipulated time, and now he is in perfect cooperation with our client.
